Nusuk Hajj: Register & Book for 2026
Nusuk Hajj is the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s platform for pilgrims under the Direct Hajj Program to register, compare packages, and book — with no external agents. This guide explains who it is for, the 2026 process, package tiers and costs, and what you need to prepare.
What is Nusuk Hajj?
Nusuk Hajj (hajj.nusuk.sa) runs the Direct Hajj Program — an initiative for pilgrims from countries with Muslim minorities that have no official Hajj mission to manage their pilgrims. For these countries, the Ministry oversees the entire journey: vetting companies, building packages, monitoring service quality, and setting fair prices.
Eligible pilgrims can browse, book, and pay for packages directly through the platform, without dealing with external intermediaries. One important note that appears on the platform itself: registering does not automatically mean you will be accepted — demand exceeds the annual quota, so places are allocated through selection.
Which channel is yours?
Not everyone registers on Nusuk Hajj directly. Using the wrong channel wastes valuable time, so identify which of these three routes matches your situation before you begin.
Package tiers & 2026 costs
Indicative Direct Hajj Program pricing for 2026. Costs vary significantly by country of origin, airline, and accommodation, and packages typically bundle accommodation and transport.
Standard accommodation, generally further from the Haram, with the core Hajj services covered.
Centrally located hotels and improved Mina camps — the popular middle option for most pilgrims.
Five-star hotels close to the Haram, upgraded Mina camps, and premium transport and services.

Requirements & health rules
Documents
A valid passport with plenty of remaining validity, plus a recent passport-style photo, uploaded to your verified profile.
Vaccinations
A meningitis (ACWY) vaccination is required for pilgrims; carry the certificate. Other vaccines may apply — check the current requirements.
Health screening
Saudi health authorities screen pilgrims, and certain serious conditions (such as advanced organ failure) can disqualify applicants for safety reasons.
Two apps
Both the Nusuk app and the Tawakkalna app are used during Hajj — install and set up both, and keep your permit accessible offline.
Nusuk Hajj FAQ
Who can register on Nusuk Hajj?
Nusuk Hajj’s Direct Hajj Program serves pilgrims from countries with Muslim minorities that have no official Hajj mission — such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and European countries. Pilgrims from most other countries register through their national Hajj authority or operator, while Saudi citizens, residents, and GCC nationals use the domestic section of Nusuk.
Does registering on Nusuk Hajj guarantee a place?
No. Registering on the platform does not guarantee acceptance for Hajj. Demand exceeds the annual quota, so places are allocated through selection, and shortlisting packages in the preference phase is not the same as a confirmed booking.
How much does Hajj cost through Nusuk in 2026?
Through the Direct Hajj Program, economy packages are roughly USD 8,000 to 9,500, standard packages around USD 10,000 to 13,000, and premium packages USD 15,000 and up. Prices vary significantly by country of origin, airline, and accommodation, and packages typically bundle accommodation and transport.
What is the Package Preference Phase?
The Package Preference Phase, launched for the 2026 season, lets registered pilgrims review and compare packages by level, content, and cost and shortlist up to five preferred options. It helps the Ministry gauge demand and lets you move faster when official booking opens — but shortlisting is not a booking.
When is Hajj 2026?
Hajj 2026 corresponds to Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH and is expected around late May 2026, earlier than in recent years. The exact dates are confirmed only after the official moon sighting in Saudi Arabia.
What documents and vaccinations do I need for Hajj?
You need a valid passport (typically valid well beyond the season), a recent passport-style photo, and proof of a meningitis (ACWY) vaccination. Saudi health authorities also screen pilgrims, and certain serious medical conditions can disqualify applicants. Always check the current official health requirements.
Do Hajj packages include flights and hotels?
Direct Hajj Program packages typically bundle accommodation in Makkah, Mina, and Madinah, along with ground transport, and many also include flights. Exactly what is covered depends on the package tier and provider, so check the inclusions before booking.
Which apps do I need during Hajj?
Both the Nusuk app and the Tawakkalna app are used during Hajj — Nusuk for your permit, package, and services, and Tawakkalna for identity and government services. Download and set up both before you travel.
