Eatmarna Is Now Nusuk
If you’re looking for Eatmarna, you’re in the right place — it was renamed and replaced by Nusuk. The old Eatmarna app no longer works; every Umrah permit, prayer permit, and Rawdah booking now happens in Nusuk. Here’s exactly what changed and where to go.

Eatmarna launched in 2020 to book permits for Umrah, the five daily prayers at the Two Holy Mosques, and Rawdah visits. In just two years it registered around 21.5 million pilgrims and issued tens of millions of permits.
On 28 September 2022, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah renamed Eatmarna to Nusuk and folded its services into a single, unified platform — one that now also issues Umrah visas, sells packages, and arranges transport. Eatmarna has since been fully retired, and its old app download is no longer valid.

Eatmarna & Nusuk FAQ
Is the Eatmarna app still available?
No. Eatmarna has been replaced by Nusuk, and the old Eatmarna app no longer works. All Umrah permits, prayer permits, and Rawdah bookings are now handled through the Nusuk app or nusuk.sa.
What replaced Eatmarna?
The Nusuk app replaced Eatmarna. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah renamed Eatmarna to Nusuk and merged its permit services into a single unified platform that now also handles visas, packages, transport, and more.
When did Eatmarna become Nusuk?
The change was announced on 28 September 2022, alongside new Umrah appointment dates. The transition then completed and Eatmarna was fully retired, with Nusuk becoming the official platform.
Do I still book Umrah and Rawdah permits the same way?
Yes, the permits themselves work the same way — you just book them in Nusuk now instead of Eatmarna. A valid Nusuk permit is still mandatory to enter Masjid al-Haram and the Rawdah.
Is Nusuk free?
Yes, the Nusuk app is free to download on iOS and Android, and Umrah and Rawdah permits are issued at no charge. Visas, packages, and other services have their own separate costs.
Will my old Eatmarna login work on Nusuk?
You sign in to Nusuk with your national ID or Iqama number — residents through Nafath — as it is the same authority’s unified platform. Simply download Nusuk and log in; there is no need to keep the old Eatmarna app.
Do I need a permit even with a valid visa?
Yes. A valid Umrah or Hajj visa alone is no longer enough — you also need a Nusuk-issued permit, which is scanned at the gates. Without it you can be turned away from Masjid al-Haram even with a valid visa.
